What is it?
QRes is a complete computer-based booking management system. You can use it to manage reservations, check-in's and check-out's,
track charges, print invoices & receipts for guests, print management reports etc.
Can I use QRes on multiple computers on my network?
Yes. Do a "Full Installation" on the first computer (which makes it your
Establishment Server), and "Client-Only" installations on any other
computer on your network.
The QRes installer (download here) contains both types of installations.
Can I access QRes remotely, from another computer on the internet?
Yes, the QRes Client can connect to an Establishment Server over the
internet, providing full operational access to bookings and all reports.
It even works well even over dial-up connections for small to medium sized properties.

Can I manage multiple establishments on a single installation of QRes?
Yes, as many as you like. You can switch between them with a click of a button, or you can also open a different QRes window for each establishment if you need to manage them simultaneously.
Can I print customized invoices and confirmation letters with my own letterhead?
Yes, you can customize the appearance (and content) of all letters and report templates, and create your own new ones.

When I email a reply to custumer, the templates doesn't open.
This may occur with Microsoft Outlook. We have built an emailer into QRes which bypasses email programs completely. To enable it, go to File -> Local Settings -> Advanced, and check "Use QRes Connect to send emails".When you send emails to customers they won't appear in your Sent box, so you may want to send yourself a CC or BCC copy. What is it?
QRes Messenger is a very simple instant-messenger program which alerts you with a pop-up message when somebody makes an online booking
on your website.
Does it work with other res systems?
Yes, it can read availabilities from your reservations system and update your website's availabilities
automatically.

What is it?
QRes Connect is the online service which hosts your real-time website booking wizard,
and sends bookings instantly to either QRes or the QRes Messenger on your computer.
What does a QRes Connect subscription give me exactly?
The main things are
Does it work if I have a dialup connection?
Yes, it's designed from the ground up to support non-permanent internet connections. Both QRes and the QRes Messenger detect when you're connected to the internet, and synchronize new bookings and availabilities automatically. It won't tie up your connection: the amount of data transferred is less than a small email each time you connect, and each time you receive a booking.
How do I manage my email mailboxes?
Log in to the Customer Tools page. You can add/delete mailboxes using
the online tools there at any time.
How do I manage my website?
We provide FTP as well as a browser-based file manager. Details are on the Customer Tools
page.
Can I use my domain name (eg "myhotel.com") for my website?
Yes, you can assign any number of domain names to a website.
How do I use my my existing domain name?
Go to your domain name registrar's website, and change the DNS delegation.
